Ever feel lost?

There are times in life when I feel lost. Worse yet are the times when I am actually lost ... I have lost my way and I do not know which way to turn. What one does next is try to find help, to get one's bearings, or locate a landmark that lets me know where I am.

A person wrote a very brief description in our Angel Survey describing how angels helped her in just such a situation:

"One time, I was living in a small cabin up on a hill between lots of redwoods. I had no electricity, and I was lost. I couldn't see anything in the dark. I was afraid. I prayed for help, and a wonderful blue glowing light showed up in the middle of the darkness. The light traveled up the hill through the trees, and I followed it. The light stopped at my small cabin door. This is one of many experiences. Truly God is good."

It is nice to know that help can come in a physical way, in just such a way to bring each lost person safely home.

Angel Research -- dream contact

For some time now, I have been taking a survey on my website that started as a research project for a Ph.D. thesis a friend of mine was writing. I have left the survey up because there is always another story that someone wants to share with others about an angel experience they have had and the impact that contact has had on his life.

Here is an example:

" A woman I worked with at Hospice was always afraid to die, and no
amount of stories, prayers or personal interventions could help to ease
her chronic sense of fear. At the end, the family advised me later,
she just "slipped away while being turned on her side".

My son had never heard me mention this patient (he's usually not
too interested in my work with those who are about to pass over into
their next state of existence!). He also didn't hear the phone ring
in the wee hours that brought notice of this lady's passing. But he
nevertheless ended up having a dream about a woman who died, and he
described her exactly as this woman looked. He sensed her age correctly,
and her name came through to him as "ITA" (Her real name was
"RITA"). That seemed to be close lose enough for identification purposes:
"ITA" might be her heavenly name.

In the my son's dream, my father was waiting in an "airplane"
to take her away --- she was on the wing ready to go with the Lord
or whomever was sent to help her: and then, Darrell said, she "slipped
off" and "died" in the body. My dad was apparently the pilot in the
plane, which came from "the other side" to help Rita: at least
judging from spiritual information he appears to have sent us in the
past by way of dream impressions concerning his work.

There were too many things correct for this to have been concidental.
My own interpretation is that my dad's job is to help those afraid to die
who cannot concentrate and focus enough to effectively pray to Christ
directly, perhaps being interfered with by negative spirits. Those
forces are always actively seeking to divert all who seek Christ's Spirit
--- it is characteristic of the continuing struggle between the satanic
dark forces and those of HIS LIGHT. I feel in my bones, so to speak, that this
is so. It makes sense to me, anyway."

An Angel for Kittens

This last weekend our Sunday morning was spent rescuing a tiny gold kitten who had taken a ride hidden inside of a forklift. His mother had safely placed him there in this barn on our club grounds, not knowing some human would come along and take that huge piece of equipment far away. The man who drove the forklift did not hear the kitten until he stopped the engine. The tiny kitten was crying for its mother and would have come out to the man, but his two inquisitive dogs decided it was much more fun to chase the little gold kitten into the barn nearby.

The next morning, the kitten was still in the barn. The man had left a can of tuna for him to eat, not having any cat food. My husband and I were told the sad tale and went over to the barn, but that tiny kitten was so scared it would only cry somewhere inside another tractor's engine.

So, we broght the kitten's mother in a little porta cage. She was real nervous, never having been in this particular barn before. She got the kitten to call to her and even come out, but whenever either of us tried to catch it, it made one quick streak for the many hiding places us huge humans could not get into. So we let mama out and she managed to get her wayward child to come to her. Now we had to catch both of them. Mama was nervous and the baby was still shaken from the night alone in a strange place. The barn was huge and there were so many farm implements and tractors to hide in that it was becoming an impossible task. So, I just closed my eyes for a moment and said a little prayer.

"God, if you have an angel to watch over kittens, we sure need help right now. Both cats are too fast for us and I just don't want to leave them there where a dog or other animal could come along and kill them. And they are too far away from home to know how to get back."

As soon as I opened my eyes again, mama headed for the crack under the one regular sized door to the barn where she could see the sunlight coming in from outside. In one swoop, my husband caught the little gold kitten, and I had mama.

I sure hope those two cats thank God for their own special angel.
